The news industry is a business that invests time and money into getting our attention by writing headlines that appeal to our desires for comfort and safety. The language and psychology used in the news media draws us in and we're hooked - spending hours, entire days even, glued to the news. But is it serving us well to live this way? Today, as we navigate the coronavirus pandemic and want to be responsible and informed citizens, it's just as important to be mindful of what we're consuming.
